JUDE CHIP OFF THE OLD ROCK (CHIPPY)

4 MONTHS AND A MINUTE!

AT THE GULF SHORE REGIONAL AWARDS SHOW, JUNE 8TH, 2008, PARKER, TX.

Chippy was BEST KITTEN at his first show in Judge Betty White's final.

Chippy also made a final with Judge Pam DelaBar and Judge Gloria Hoover.

Gloria also could not resist giving him the "cute kitten award", a pink beanie baby kitty.

Our thanks to all those who supported Chippy at his first show.

To celebrate the occasion we even had Chippy's pictures made by Larry Johnson. Look for his picture to be posted soon.

Proud Carissa Altschul is holding Chippy and a brown tabby at the show for color comparison.

You can tell by the smile on her face that she is pleased with him, of course, because GC Cacao Moonshine of Jude is Chippy's grandsire.

Cacao has been generous in the deveopment of the chocolate colors here at Jude.

It has taken three generations to get the coveted chocolate color produced by Chippy.

So go ahead and take a bow, Cacao, for your contribution to the success of our Chippy. You deserve it!

Since Chippy's sire, Rocky Road, was shown for and entire year, judges never have to question Chippy's chocolate color. Soon we will see more of these rare chocolate/lilac colors in the show rings.

JUDE is now placing Rocky Road offspring to quality programs in hopes of speeding up the development of this difficult color.
